Subway Surfers: Best Depiction of Modern Lifestyle
Have you ever wondered what our lives look like? From childhood, till now we don’t understand the purpose of it but we all are running endlessly to achieve something.
Many motivational or self-development books explained to have a goal or aim in life. Still only a very small percentage of people know the aim of their life.
Then also I thought if somebody achieves their dream then what after it? For example, assume a person aimed to win a gold medal in Olympics and after years of practice and dedication he or she won it then what after it. Thus, they will stop living?
The answer I got from a motivation video is that make a new goal after every goal you achieve. It means achieving your dream is not the ultimate aim of your life.
When I see life from an observant point of view relatively it seems to be nothing but a Subway surfer game. Yes, it is true. Like a player in Subway Surfer who is running away from the Police Man; we are also running away from death.
But no matter how hard you run how many points you earn or break old records Police Man like Death is always just one step behind you.
Running, Earning and Getting Caught
We understand the desperation of people to earn income and to have a stable life. In the pursuit of happiness, we are ruining our present. We are in a hurry to get something in the future that we lost a view on things that we have in present.
No matter how hard you run in the end the destination of the entire human race or every life is the same i.e. death. In the game of Subway Surfers, the player keeps running endless and in his race, he earns coins and some different powers. But during his race, he is not able to use the coins for himself.
He runs endlessly and never reached the destination and gets caught by the policeman. Isn’t it similar to the rat race in which we all are running? We are trying to reach the destination but there is no destination at all. The only thing we have is the journey, and how fast or slow you run ultimately the dead-end is death.
It is not good to waste your life in a useless pursuit or make pseudo aim in life. Life is to enjoy. It can be enjoyed when we remain present in the present and live it.
Money is useful and we all should earn income. But we should not obsess about making money. Sachin Tendulkar, the God of the Cricket said in one of its interviews that:
“There is no short cut to success”.
Short cuts will tempt you, but be true to yourself. Always ask questions to yourself and seek the answer. The motive behind becoming successful is to be happy. It means no matter what your aim or goal is, the result one is seeking is happiness.

Every life on the planet is unique and precious. Don’t waste your time in a useless pursuit. One formula fit for all never works. Observe your life and do what you can do. If you can’t do what you cannot do is alright but if you can’t do what you can do that is a disaster.
What is needed has to be done. For earning you have to work but don’t get obsessed with it. Everybody has some knowledge and skill, use it to earn income and spend time to refine your skill. This way you can become successful in a joyful manner.
Don’t be dead before your death. Be alive and vibrant.
