Sometimes, those who keep postponing defeat end up winning.
Life is a constant struggle where we must stay prepared for any challenge to win over it. Most of the time, the problems we face are manageable. Yet, some problems completely change the direction of our lives. Life-changing problems arise only when a person tries to accomplish more than their current capacity. In this pursuit of greatness, people often encounter unbearable challenges. The only way out is to keep moving forward, even in the face of constant failure.
To bear the pain without turning it into suffering — that is the game hard times play with us. Difficult phases come to increase our stamina for psychological pain and to build greater mental strength as well as winning attitude. Every situation in life tests human mental resilience. The more we are able to keep our mind still, the better we can solve the problems at hand.
Most of the time, our overthinking makes us fearful about the uncertainty of the future. But uncertainty doesn’t necessarily mean things will turn out negatively. An overthinking mind creates scenarios where, after a setback, all past pain resurfaces and amplifies our fear.
Consistent Effort Is the Only Way For Winning
Problems and hardships exist to test our will. Many times, I’ve felt as though darkness has consumed all the light from life. Nothing is visible, and no path can be seen — I don’t know where I’m heading. Winning has taken a back seat; now, survival has become the priority. Sometimes, it feels like being a wanderer, unsure of where life is taking me. The goals and vision we had at the beginning of the journey become invisible as we walk the path.
Life keeps testing our mettle, again and again, to see how we tackle problems. No one who is alive has dodged this — everyone faces stress and challenges. The face of each problem may differ, but the impact on the body and mind is often the same. Only those who keep working and hustling can emerge as a winner from their ocean of worries. When people reach the other side of the river, they realize there was nothing to fear.
Most of the time, the solution to your problems won’t be clearly visible. All one can do is stay in the race and not drop out — because sometimes, postponing defeat leads to victory. Don’t give up. Never give up. Keep your mind elevated and stay humble. Keep working, keep going — because constant and consistent effort is the only solution to any problem in life.
Time will turn in your favor too. Just wait for your moment and keep moving forward. Keep falling forward. Keep leaning forward. After all, to drive a car forward, we cannot keep looking at the rearview mirror.
