The biggest controversy inside the Bigg Boss 20 house recently came from the revelation that Qazi had been portraying a character during the first two weeks of the game. The moment his cover was exposed, the entire house reacted, and understandably so. Contestants who had emotionally invested in him suddenly felt deceived. People who trusted him started questioning whether any of their interactions with him had been genuine. In that sense, the disappointment directed at Qazi was completely justified.

As a viewer, I also believe Qazi was wrong to present himself as someone he was not. While the twist was entertaining from an audience perspective and added an interesting layer to the game, the impact on the housemates was very real. These contestants live together 24/7, and emotional bonds inside the house are often much stronger than what viewers see on television. Therefore, feeling betrayed after learning the truth was a natural reaction.

However, while most contestants seemed upset specifically because of the deception, Rhiti’s reaction felt different. It felt bigger than the actual issue. Her anger appeared to come from a place that had been building for weeks rather than from the revelation alone.

The moment Qazi’s cover was blown, Rhiti went after him with an intensity that seemed disproportionate compared to what was being discussed. Instead of simply confronting him about the misleading character, her words and tone suggested a much deeper frustration. It looked as if she had been waiting for an opportunity to attack him and finally found the perfect reason.

Instead of Rhiti becoming the center of attention, Qazi completely took over that space.

Weekend Ka Vaar conversations often revolved around him. House dynamics were shaped around him. Contestants discussed him constantly. Viewers talked about him online. Even people who disliked him were still talking about him.

In simple terms, Qazi became one of the most relevant contestants in the house.

And that is where Rhiti’s frustration may have started.

For weeks, she watched Qazi receive the attention, importance, and appreciation that she probably imagined for herself when she entered the house. Every time he became the focus of a discussion, every time his name was highlighted, and every time he became the center of a storyline, it may have reinforced that frustration even further.

The problem was that Rhiti never really got an opportunity to directly challenge him.

She did not have a major rivalry with him in tasks. She did not get many chances to clash with him during Weekend Ka Vaar. There was no ongoing feud through which she could openly express her dissatisfaction. As a result, whatever negative emotions she may have been accumulating remained bottled up.

And Rhiti took that opportunity with both hands.

Ironically, that may have weakened her position.

Had she expressed her concerns in a composed manner, many viewers would have fully supported her. After all, the criticism itself had merit. Qazi had deceived people inside the house. There were real emotional consequences to his actions. But because Rhiti appeared so angry and personal in her attacks, the conversation shifted away from accountability and toward her own behavior.

The spotlight Rhiti wanted was always on Qazi

At the heart of this entire controversy is a simple observation: it seemed like Rhiti was not just angry about Qazi’s deception. She was angry that Qazi had become the contestant she expected to be.

The fame, appreciation, visibility, and relevance that surrounded Qazi throughout the season were things she likely hoped to experience herself. Instead, Qazi dominated that space and left very little room for anyone else to claim it. As internet slang would put it, he absolutely “ate and left no crumbs” in the attention department.

That does not mean every criticism directed at Qazi was wrong. In fact, many of the concerns raised against him were valid. But the intensity of Rhiti’s reaction suggested that there was something deeper beneath the surface. The cover reveal may have been the trigger, but the frustration had clearly been building long before that moment.

In the end, Qazi’s secret exposed two different truths. The first was that he had misled other contestants through the character he portrayed. The second was that Rhiti’s reaction revealed just how frustrated she seemed by the spotlight constantly being on someone else. What should have been a discussion about trust ultimately became a glimpse into a rivalry driven by relevance, attention, and the feeling that someone else was living the Bigg Boss journey she had imagined for herself.
