Finally much waited and anticipated TV series, the prequel to Games of Thrones release date is out. House of the Dragon is the prequel to the world-renowned and famous TV series Games of Thrones.
The story of the House of the Dragon is set around 200 years before Games of Thrones. It mainly focuses on the Targaryen family. The series is based on the book Fire and Blood, which comes under the bestseller category in 2018.
Where and How to Watch House of the Dragon?
In the United States of America, it will air on Sunday 21 August at 9 pm on HBO and HBO Max.
In the United Kingdom, the show will air on Sky Atlantic at 2 am and 9 pm on Monday 22 August 2022.
How Many Episodes Will be There?
There will be 10 episodes in the series.
The plot of House of the Dragon?
As said above as well, it brings out the story of the Targaryen family. Their affinity with dragons has enabled them to rule Westeros more effectively.
But the period of calm and stability doesn’t remain for a long time period. The inter-family feud gives rise to House of the Dragon which also traces the family’s downfall.
The executive producer of the House of the Dragon George RR Martin said: “The story of House of the Dragon is about very flawed human beings capable of doing good things, capable of doing monstrous things, capable of courage, capable of cowardice. These are the kinds of characters I love the most.”
