Red Flags of Amawen
No Owner’s Information
It is the cliche and most common point among the scam sites to hide the information of its owner. On Amawen site, we found no information about its owner.
Understand this point, on Amawen site you are going to buy a product with your hard-earned money. Don’t you want to know the person on whom you are trusting with your money?
The Amawen maker also guarded its identity in the WHOIS records, as it knows that people are going to sue him/her after knowing that they get scammed by the Amawen.
It is also convenient for the scammers to scam people by hiding their identity without any fear of getting caught.
Copied ‘About US’ Page
The content of any genuine site needs to be unique. If the copied content is present on any site then the site is not good. The same is the case with Amawen Site.
Amawen has copied its content from another site. Usually, we have to use the plagiarism tool to check any site content. But this time we have to just read the ‘About Us’ of Amawen Site.
Worldwide Shipping on All Orders
It is great to reach across the globe to sell the products. But without charging genuine shipping charges raise the red flag.
The Amawen site is offering free shipping on all orders. Is it conducive for any business to send the product of worth just $30 across the globe without any charges?
It is a trap set by this site maker for innocent people, who just saw the good deals and never bother to do a background check of the site.
Security Measures
Except for the SSL certificate, there are no Security Measures present on the Amawen site. It shows that Amawen makers are not serious about their customer data.
Data is the oil of the digital world. Hackers around the world try to hack the sites to get people information.
To protect the site and data from the scammers, sites use security software like Macfee and Norton.
But Amawen doesn’t care about the security of their site and hence bought no security software for its site.
Payment Gateways Icons Image
All the payment gateways icons present on the Amawen site are just an image. The genuine and original icons are clickable and always contain the certificate in it.
But the icons present on the Amawen are just an image which means that Amawen site has no genuine icon and they are misleading people by showing the images of the icons.
The Amawen site has no presence on Social Media. We understand that this is not the point of authenticity.
But in today’s world, a site that is not using the platform of social media is not sincere about its work.
