Kyedae Pleads With VALORANT Fans To Show ‘Empathy’ Towards TenZ During The Sentinels Crisis
As the Sentinels continue to face tough times, the animosity around them is increasing day by day. TenZ, the team’s star duelist, recently played against Leviatán despite a hand injury, but his team lost the series after a poor performance on decider Pearl. On top of that, the Sentinels abruptly parted ways with their head coach Don “SyykoNT” Muir just three games into VCT Americas.
Unfortunately, TenZ was the lowest-rated player in the series against Leviatán, which led some fans to attack him on social media. This prompted Kyedae, TenZ’s girlfriend and a popular streamer, to ask for empathy towards TenZ during his rough stretch and her fight against cancer.
In a tweet posted on Twitter, Kyedae said, “Please be understanding, Tyson HAD to play [versus Leviatán]. I’m sure if he had the choice, he would have sat out. He played with a joint infection and just tested positive [for] Covid this morning.
He’s only human. And I know I’m going to get attacked in the comments for this tweet. I do not care. I just feel constantly hopeless for the situation I’m in, and if I could, I would have hidden the fact that I have cancer from everyone as well as himself so he could continue to focus fully.” If you want to know about Tenz Valorant Settings then checkout our article on it.

TenZ’s Performance
According to VLR.gg’s statistics, TenZ was arguably the worst player in the server in Sentinels vs. Leviatán next to Sacy as he finished with a 0.72 rating, 149 ACS, and -14 K/D, while playing with a joint infection in his hand. He also underperformed last week on April 9 against NRG but Sentinels were completely shut down on Icebox (13-2).
The reason why TenZ is playing despite Kyedae’s battle with leukemia and now with an injury is likely that Sentinels’ sixth player, Marved, is supposedly still sorting out his visa to travel to Los Angeles. Although some fans are blaming TenZ for his recent performances, others have sided with him as they understand what he’s going through at the moment.
Sentinels will come back to the server this Friday to face LOUD and try to secure their second victory to become 2-2 in VCT Americas. Former strategic coach Adam Kaplan has been promoted to head coach, which means we could see some changes in both Sentinels’ compositions moving forward and player swaps should Marved become available.
Empathy for TenZ
It is essential to empathize with TenZ during these tough times. As human beings, we all go through tough times, and it is essential to recognize the difficulties that TenZ is facing both on and off the server. It is challenging to perform at your best when you have health issues or are struggling emotionally.
Moreover, it is vital to recognize that esports athletes are not machines, and they need time to recover and heal. The constant pressure of performing at the highest level can be overwhelming, and it is essential to recognize the mental and physical toll that it takes on players.
Why Empathy Matters
Empathy is a fundamental aspect of human nature, and it is what makes us human. When we empathize with someone, we can understand their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. It helps us connect with others on a deeper level and create meaningful relationships.
In the case of TenZ, empathy can help us understand the difficulties he is going through and support him in his journey. Instead of attacking him on social media,
We should offer words of encouragement and support for TenZ and his girlfriend, Kyedae, during these trying times. As fans, we need to remember that the players we idolize are human beings with emotions and struggles, just like us. It’s important to show empathy and understanding, especially when they’re going through difficult situations like illness and injury.
While some fans may be quick to criticize TenZ for his recent performance, it’s important to remember that he’s playing through both an injury and a positive COVID-19 test, on top of dealing with his girlfriend’s battle with cancer.
We can’t imagine the pressure and stress he’s under, both in his personal life and as a professional player. Rather than attacking him on social media, we should show him our support and offer words of encouragement.
It’s heartening to see that many fans have already rallied behind TenZ and Kyedae, expressing their empathy and understanding for what they’re going through. As a community, we should continue to support them both and show that we stand with them during these tough times.
Sentinels’ recent decision to part ways with their head coach, Don “SyykoNT” Muir, has only added to the turmoil surrounding the team. However, with the promotion of former strategic coach Adam Kaplan to head coach, there’s a chance for a fresh start for the team.
We’ll have to wait and see how this change affects the team’s performance moving forward, but one thing’s for sure: they’ll need the support of their fans now more than ever.
