We didn’t choose to write against the online shopping scam sites. It chose us. Our aim and motive are very simple and straight to make people aware of scam sites and their work.
We do not recommend Marrston site for any kind of use. Don’t shop from this site. It is not a genuine site. Never share your information with them.
Why Marrston is a Scam?
Information brings Transparency
Transparency is imperative for any genuine business. Transparency helps to turn the name of the company into a brand. Any international brand site or genuine online shopping sites always shares its information.
Information brings transparency which ultimately helps the company to have people’s trust. Marrston site maker doesn’t believe in transparency. They have not shared their information with customers.
On their site, we have not found any information on any real person. Marrston doesn’t even have an ‘About Us’ page which is an important page for any site. It tells us about the site maker’s view about its own site.
In WHOIS records, they have guarded their information which is very common among scammers.
Discount a Trap
Scammers use a discount to trap people. Scammers offer lucrative discounts on every product. They make a site in such a way that people are not able to see faults, loopholes or red flags on the site.
Marrston site also offers a discount on every product available on its site. The discounts are very lucrative. People might think it is a season sale. But season sales also work for limited products with some terms and conditions.
Copied Content
Genuine sites never copy the content, they always create unique content for their site. Marrston site content is copied from another scam site. Images of copied content are present below.
We believe Social Media is a mine for any online shopping site. Social Media has the potential to reach millions of people at a very low cost.
Marrston doesn’t have any social media accounts. They have placed social media icons on its site but it is not working. The link present on the FB icon redirects to the home page of Marrston.
Not having an account on social media is not a point of authenticity. But it is a point of sincerity about their work. They are not serious to make a new customer base.
Payment Gateways and Security Measures
Payment gateways present on Marrston sites are just an icon. They are not clickable. It means they have placed the image of icons to mislead their customers. On the security part except for the SSL certificate, this site contains no security measures.
It means it is not safe to share your information with them. Data theft or the probability to misuse your data on this site is very high.
